After using MagicCard for several months I can responsibly state, that for an Internet cafe it is an ideal and invaluable tool. All workstations are practically maintenance free. Considering we saved one man power, we estimate capital cost repayment to be less than 5 months. We can also afford not to limit the guests in using the computers in any way without worrying about their functionality. My opinion is that no pure software solution can do as perfect job. So far, we did not experience a single virus infection or computer malfunction caused by a user activity.
